Split Screen Car Games: Car Combat on One Screen
Vroom Boom is a vehicular combat game for PC built around local split screen versus. Two controllers, one screen, one friend you're about to blow up. It's coming to Steam in 2027.
Why split screen car combat works
Racing games are about who crosses the line first. Car combat is about who's still driving at the end. On a shared screen you can see your friend line up a shot, and they can see you dodge it. That's the whole game.
