Vroom Boom is an arcade car combat game from Chive Arcade, inspired by Twisted Metal and Rocket League. Pick your armed car, outlast 8 to 12 bot cars in battle royale, survive waves of enemy cars, and settle it with a friend in split-screen versus.

It's you against 8 to 12 bot cars. Pick battle royale from the main menu and be the last car running.
Survive the waves
In survival mode, enemy cars come in waves, and a boss shows up every five waves. After each wave you draft an upgrade. There are 12, and most of them change how your car looks. By the end of a run, your car shows how you built it.
Boost, jump, double jump
Boost to close the gap. Boost runs on energy, and boost pads refill it. Jump, or double jump in mid-air, to dodge enemy shots. Want more air? Grab the Jump Jets upgrade.
Load up
You get a machine gun and rockets, plus homing, power, napalm and EMP missiles. Drop mines or fire a nova blast. Hold C to raise your shield and block damage, but it drains your boost. Special-ammo pickups and health stations are scattered around the arena for when things go bad.
Six arenas
Fight across Dusk Circuit, Neon Ruins, Overpass, Bullseye, Scrapyard and Foundry.
Pick your car and draft your upgrades
Pick your car from the garage. Draft your upgrades and make it your own.
Split-screen versus
Grab a friend and go head to head on one screen. Local split-screen versus is for 2 players, first to 5 kills wins.
How to play
Fire, boost, jump and use your special. Hold C to raise your shield. It blocks damage but drains your boost.
Inspired by the classics
I grew up playing Twisted Metal, and Vroom Boom is my take on that kind of arcade car combat, with some Rocket League boosting and jumping mixed in. Vroom Boom is not affiliated with Sony or Psyonix.
